the same thing it entails on lawyers gate and I think adams school, though I havent checked those maps over so the cover might not be accurate. You'll see a notification pop up with a number in the middle saying 50, meaning that the enemy will have a flat 50% chance less to it. People with fast shot only have 40%, people with laser rifling would have 50%. You then have any combination of hex markers around that number to show in which direction the cover applies. Since cover is a buff on the player, it only works when youre standing on the trigger, which means directly in front of it. If you get knocked out of cover then it shouldn't apply anymore.
So for everyone, please do have battles on polymer and eastern to test that stuff in practice and give some feedback on it. The main points are not only the utility in combat but also how intuitive the covers are, in the sense of where they are supplying cover from and if you can easily guess from a distance which sceneries give cover and which wont.
