Re-level NPC
« on: September 13, 2014, 08:59:44 AM »

Perhaps a future addition could be an npc in faction bases that lets you relevel your character for a price. What do you guys think about this?

Basically an npc that when you talk to, he takes away all your exp, then gives it back. So you can redo your levels again. (if you messed up the first time)

Rather a Re-spec/Re-skill.

Like in wow the talent reset.

That feature would be REALLY DAMN HELPFULL since lots of mechanics are still not working, not everything is known etc.
BUT
I'm against about adding this feature IF it's not the hardest thing possible. Re-specing your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. , perks at will, will break this game.

So we would be able to change our stats whenever we feel like it?

I don't like it, potentially game breaking.

The respec should go only for perks and skillpoints not special.

No game breaking but helpful feature. You wont need to make new alt if for example you want to try other build, skills. Guys reroll is on Reloaded, Fo2 and similar feature in tla mk2. +1 for reroll in aop

I never saw this feature in other fonlines, so I guess my opinion is invalid.
All I can suggest is this not be a free option it should come with a price or a limit on the amount of times a re-roll can be performed IMO.

Fonline2 you can make reroll for x caps (dont remember) and after that you get item which looks like "fallout2 guide book" and this you can use to reset character. In Reloaded devs make reroll as extra feature if you donate but after wipe reroll will be in game feature. In TLA mk2 devs let you change character for donations. I could send links but now I am typing from smarthphone which isshitty when I try coping urls. :/

So reroll is not that bad and for high lvls players it is helpful, even for this who fucked chars, forget choosing perk etc. Problem make it balanced.

It is in other FOnlines.

Also +1 , reroll ingame would be good.
