My honest opinion, EW are already the best weapons. I'm pretty happy with my 200+ critical hits from 50+ range. My Ext. Cap Laser Rifle is more than enough for my liking.

Just expand the list of available missions to 10. Simplest solution.
That still doesn't mean for sure that you'll get the fun ones!

I do agree that getting swarmed is a big problem for the Family.

As for defender side, the Family hold and earn polymer labs against numerical disadvantages.

But this is true as well. We have won in some cases 9 vs 21 against V-tech.

Numbers aren't always everything, but obviously getting swarmed in inconvenient locations (Such as the middle of a street) is going to be a pain.

It is a nice suggestion and even though it IS possible with the engine, it will be quite difficult and time consuming I think. In my opinion, time will even the factions out. Just be patient and eventually we will be up there in ranks  ;D

Suggestions / Mission Selection Changed
« on: September 23, 2014, 06:21:50 PM »
So I was at the Pr0 mission area, and I noticed that there were no Search & Destroy Missions available. Since those are my favorite, I decided to wait for one to appear! A few minutes later, an easy A+ mission popped up so I decided to grab it. Around the same time as me, another dude was talking to the Missions guy. I clicked "accept' and expected to see "You have enrolled blah blah blah".. But guess what! The other dude got it before me!!! How annoying, right?

My suggestion is to make the option available to pick which type of mission you're after. So instead of just having 5 or 6 random missions at a time, make the options some thing like this;

Mission Giver - Hello, what kind of missions are you interested in this time?

Choice / Search & Destroy, Assassination or Retrieval.
for whichever you choose: Give 5 or 6 missions in that category to choose from, rank A - SSS (or random?)

Can be the same for the lower level missions, Rank F - B.

Opinions?

Suggestions / Re: Change Repair
« on: September 23, 2014, 11:07:32 AM »
I didn't repair one single thing yet. If the oil alone is worth 1/4 of a shop-new item, then something is wrong here.

I totally agree. That's my entire point, the whole system seems kind of broken.

What are you equipped with? Simplest of armours? o_0. Faction mk2 costs like 900+ in caps.

The simple things is the main problem! Ofc the higher tier gear will cost more to fix and buy, that's expected! We're trying to fix the basic stuff here.

+1 for better and more traps. But also, make them require a bit less to make. Everything is so much to craft in this game!

Suggestions / Change Repair
« on: September 22, 2014, 04:21:49 PM »
Repairing low tier weapons and armor is SO annoying and expensive. I mean, why would you want to waste an oil can or a Kevlar repairing a Mauser or Leather armor? For noobs and Pr0s alike, repairing is annoying and expensive.

My suggestion is to lower the requirements for repairing low-tier items. For Tier 1 armor, use Fibers only, instead of Fibers AND Kevlar. For Tier 1 weapons, use more metal parts or something.

As it is now, it's not even worth it to repair items. People will just ignore the engineering skill.

This is so funny to read ;), I had like 40 golden hides after 15 minutes of encounter-farming. I don't understand what's so hard about that.

Sir, you are a liar. That is all.

A darker purple color would seem nice. It seems kind of Mafia-ish. And the family is the Mafia, am I wrong?

Yeah but standing there trading things all day would take up WAAAAY to much time. This way, people see it and take what they need. Don't worry, it's all gone already  ;D But I do like the idea of the donations NPC. It could give any player 1 armor, 100 bullets and 1 gun. Make it have a 24 6 hour cooldown for a players who take items, but when you donate, you get some reputation in your faction!

Today I was hearing a lot of fellow family members over the chat talking about how they just started. Some were complaining about how the got killed by npcs or whatever. I decided to help with the problem a little bit. I know it wasn't much but I made a few peoples' day.  ;D

But then you have idiots who will come and start sciencing items saying "Let the noobs work hard for it!" *cough* S.P.E.C.I.A.L *cough*...
Anyways, it was a good thing, and other people started doing it also. A fellow family member, Shin, started repairing AK-47's for whoever needed it for free. It was a good deed for some of us, and I think we helped get some beginners on their feet. Good job Family! There is still some good players around.... and some bad ones like SPECIAL....

Events & Politics / Re: Is there any point playing Family now?
« on: September 20, 2014, 09:24:48 PM »
Well said everyone. Like I stated before, the family players are much more willing to follow a (good) leader, where as the other factions seem to rebel against one another. With the proper organization and tactics of an experienced leader, we usually come out victorious. (Unless swarmed like bees on a honeycomb)

He's actually right. It would improve it a little. Since the read/write head wouldn't be moving around inside the drive, it would take less time to find the info and therefore lag less. Besides, SSD last longer than traditional drives.

I'm gonna donate soon. The game is worth it, as long as you get this lag fixed.

Look in your room. The caps will be in one of the containers that came with the room.
