Red Gum most OP drug ever since when it was changed from +5ap regen+ / -30% Damage Resistance (To Normal) to 10ap regen+ / -30 overall AP (which isnt really some con) , Afterburner allows u pretty much to make some spammer with almost the lowest AG from SPECIAL ... Psycho needs a rework aswell like stated in other topic , also i dunno why Bloddmoon was changed to give +2AG instead of +2PE ... Vodoo and Mentats seems to be balanced for now although i was liking the cons from old Mentats more than what we have now , ST penalty might be too high for now and i think -8 Damage Threshold (Normal) , -5% Damage Resistance(Normal) were better cons , also im not sure if this -10 to all critical rolls as a con from Vodoo still exists , need dev confirmation on that one ??? Buffout was useless since day one ingame since it gives u EN but no retro HPs so overall cons are way too high -1 Agility , -3 Luck in favor of +3 ST...
so discuss overall balance of current drugs and especially afterburner one.
to me its clear that afterburner was balanced before due to lower buff and some reasonable con like decreasing damage resistant ... its design was clearly for being able to deal more damage over time but in same time to be more fragile , after the buff which just doubled the pro side of the drug it still have the same function just without some negative effect which is bad in my opinion especially with the buff from 5 to 10 > 2x while taking the fragile part from it is INSANE ... really whoever made that shud be crucified , u know how much 5ap regen+ is measured in AGILITY already ? doubling it is like saying allright lets turn this fonline mod into ultimately spamming game with bad ping , BYLAD ... who needs aiming , aiming is for the weak , lets introduce some perks and change some drugs , yeh yeh ... BLYAD BLYAD

I agree with courier. Snipers can do constant aimed shots every 2-3 seconds, especially with simian warfare.
It needs to be nerfed/changed. Also buffout is useless as courier stated. It's just taking up space in my medicine cabinet xd.
And psycho was better when it gave damage resistance...this conversion to bleed just makes your bleed skyrocket when something deals heavy damage against you.

I know this is a joke but keep in mind, this is a free game and devs are working on it during their free time instead of relaxing or playing video games after working at their real job.

I'd say 50% limb regen, +20 crit resistance to STR and EN. - 3AP+, dunno what else :P

some sort of limb healing drug would be nice indeed
not sure the 1 hour buffout should take care of that though
would fit better on the 2 minute psycho

i dont know why everybody is obsessed with that limb regen , from my experiences you should always keep in mind the leadership modules that are around , if u tweaking some things like drugs ... limb regen with that available playerperk and that leadership module is already very strong , i dont know exact numbers but i know that its some very high value e.g. something around >75% which is in other words 3 out of 4 times already ...
number one reason for bad meta stuff is the stuff i have explained , when somebody messing with something and doesnt keep the whole picture in mind , its similar to calculate some simple stuff but u forgot more then half calculations on your way to the result , the result of course is shiet ... like your whole calculation.

as with a lot of other parts of the balance, afterburner was first not used at all, then slightly buffed more and more until people suddenly realized it and used and deemed it op.
With every single new item or mechanic thats implemented, there are 3 major variables in it, and that's
1: The maximum potential of the mechanic to tip pvp balance
2: The accessibility of that potential once youve realized it (aka difficulty in using it)
3: The time it takes until people have begun to realize the potential to then start working towards using it
What this means is that especially in a small community like this, where you dont have professional koreans analyzing upcoming patches to craft the best builds and strategies and then wannabe pros that are copying them, it is hard to tell how well items do and how much of an impact things will have.
When it comes to balance, I always like to refer to world of tanks, where you have tanks that havent really changed in years, yet you keep having people crying how xy is op or xy is underpowered.

you are just wrong if u say people havent used afterburner gum before it was Op like now , i just stated the facts +10 ap regen + without any drawback is way to OP for me and doenst make sense ... on every other server anything which gives u +ap has huge drawbacks ... for example jet , but meh go on and change drugs to ultimate buffs who cares ...

It limits your max ap to 70. This means youre not that good in window wars and peekaboo, which of course is situational, but still accounts for most of the pvp ive had.
Secondly, the reduced maxap means that the base ap regen is also reduced from 10 to 7aps, so afterburner gives you only 7aps in total.
Since it shifts all those normal AP to AP+, youre more fugged when AP+ is taken away, as with ap drain, super stimpak or winded
It is impossible to take a super stim without knocking yourself out for 4 seconds.
This is not what "no drawbacks at all" means.

im just stating the facts , try it out with normal stims and some high agility , its op from my point of view , no need to take ss when u can heal 50 hp literary for almost per 2 sec , im also unsure about 3 overall ap reduction

if you get winded in PA on afterburner it's pretty balanced indeed
