Please for all of us players suffering from AoP withdraws. With late session 1 perks and weapons. Hell even sneak from session 1 which is million times better than what it is ATM (still prefer Sneak scout only)

Starting level should be 50 :D

Man its been so fucken long before everything got fugged up.

Sneak : Wartime was still needed, in inventory, carry weight affected your sneak status, less weight = better sneak. Sneak perks disabled, NO SNEAK CHARACTER PERKS WERE FUCKEN NEEDED.

Best sneak was this and all that was needed is tweaking weapons it was able to use and a little more sneaky, but no you completely do a 180 tombstone up on this bitch and now server dead  >:(  >:(  >:(  >:(

Weapons were very balanced, some assault rifles were like spamming  single shots, (HK G3 if I remember) AUG was viable AR, some needed tweaking, mainly AK's. SMGs were doomed other that skorpio with weapon closest to one hex mechanic. Ripper was still tearing shit up which needed adjustment (preferably more SEC cost per hit) Super Sledge and MPF were decent.

Sanic cannon was able to shoot through walls now if I remembered.

gotta watch old videos and read changelogs (you know, ones before si1man started helping)

and just get rid of the fucken particle accelerator, DSRs were enough already.

He is talking about just before the wipe, starting off season 2. Best thing to do S1man is ignore Stalker. I agree with him that sneak should only be recon and or traps etc. But everything else ge says is kinda pointless when so much time has been invested in testing the weapons for the different tiers.

I am optimistic that the next season will have a better start off as things will be tested properly and tech advancement will be better implemented.

Can we have no deathclaws that give you 30k exp per hit pls? :P

You mean the guy that didn't like anyone at all, adding all those who opposed him into his ignore/block list, the guy who got butthurt easily with just a simple word? who could have been a dev position but didn't want to talk to other devs?

To summarize it, I imagine that paragon misinterpreted things that were said on irc for various reasons, e.g. not knowing our characters, not knowing the background and context of aop dev and also just the language barrier. At the same time though, I never felt like there was much of an issue since apparently paragon didnt complain. Until he suddenly left with a statement saying how he knows exactly why and how we dev and what we're like as persons and how we think about him and to me it really was just ????????????

yeah, it sure was only me that shat  on him  ::)

Suff was a good dev. Simon is a good dev.

Now some fun fact from my experience of aop.
At the start of this season (season 2) i thought that the developers of aop were just: cirno, john, suff and shalazar (the main bonzo) or whatever his nickname is.
I had no idea that simon or wipe were devs too. Bah i even thought that wipe was just a bot and after that, that wipe and wire are the same person.
Nicknames are sooo confusing and so are politics!

My advice to anyone, take a weapon and play, say what would you seen added/fixed or whatever on forums. Be polite within realm of reason and thats all you need to know about any game to contribute a lot.

S1man and paragon got access at around the same time, a couple months or so into the first season, except siman was quick to take a year long break and only really started become real dev much after paragon already left, basically only since the start of current season. The other thing is that neither really wanted the "official" title on the forum or GM access ingame and in terms of the overall design decisions on where to take the game, neither really wanted to participate much.

The role of Wipe is more that of an advisor than a dev. he or she did get svn access at some point, but doesnt actually contribute any code, and is not expected to. It's just important for cirn to be able to yell WIPE BLS when irritated by fonline engine.

As far as Shang is concerned, he pretty much left at the first start in september 2014 and only returned briefly to map the Church HQ.

Lidae's and Smalltime's track records have also shown an increasing amount of breaks and throughout the current season, it has mostly been cirn, siman and me.

Decisions are fun, always do my part if possible.
Implementation isn't always fun.

Also I've received considerable amount of advices on all sort of fonline dev related questions from Wipe that made my life much easier if to speak about people's roles in development (from cirn0 aswell but its obvious).
