The only good use of WM was the ability to spawn at any entrance to the core I wanted=near where action happened. Not sure how it will be now but obviously I dont wanna move from 1 side of the core to the other just because pvp happens somewhere near lawyers gate and I have to move from Family side.

Removal of sneaking completely at least for the early tiers/game and implement it only as some very rare/expensive piece of equipment. 2nd season was a disaster of its implementation, simply because while by itself sneaking wasnt op, in the hands of an experienced player it was very lethal vs new players especially players who didnt know the mechanics of the game as well.

No need for unnecessary nerfs either  ;)

Those 20-40 players are what kept the first season alive and it was a pvp crowd mostly with maybe a few pve players in-between. The game has an actually very nice pvp system no matter how clunky it might look and as a game rewarded a good teamplay very much. Which is also why we had different set of players in the different factions that played as teams very nicely.

Yeah the truth is that the second season was a total letdown that with some bad balancing decisions and broken stuff alienated a lot of the core AoP players and thats the main reason that the game is currently completely dead. You really cant tell players that the current season is good when they played the much more polished and in my opinion superior version that we had before.

The pve part I wont comment much cause I seriously despise farming/grinding but the truth is a lot of players wanted more of it. Some new players who were coming actually asked me why there is only pvp and nothing to pve when they want to take it easy or want to do something different. As long as pve doesnt heavily influence pvp and dont give huge advantages over a player who obviously dont have the same amount of time to farm its all good I guess, but less ghouls would be appreciated ;)

As for the pvp elitists, they will always be there and you cant really change them but you can always beat them and laugh at them. The worse crowd are the pve elitists cause they are bragging while you feel sorry for them :D But lets be honest, if we take out a few of natures mistakes, the community here is very nice and the crowd is very friendly both to the new players and the oldguard. Lets not forget that there were made some nice groups of friends that except pvp and farming also liked to chat about other stuff and hooking up for other games too.

Its a very nice TC mod, but they messed up the DT and DR formula to the point where you can insta die in some encounters even with PA. Early game was best part and a lot of choices with long lasting consequences.

Hmm...I remember that you told about ripper is OP and it's needed to rebalance.... :o

I said ripper was OP cause shotguns were nerfed to shit and the rest of melee weapons didn't compare to ripper. Same reason why most players used mostly ripper as melee. The last viable door protecting toilet controlling weapon with offensive capabilities.

The balance of weapons here would be acceptable to me if I didnt experience a better version almost 2 years ago. So there might be this difference for me which stops me from enjoying the current version.

The 10 tiered weapons were actually a great idea that was handled poorly, for various reasons.

The weapon testing should have been done by the players that also gave a lot of feedback in the beginning that must have been worked out to change some stats if needed. Some very OP weapons were nerfed that way, yet some stuff were nerfed by simple cry2nerf solutions.

Also actual testing is not using a weapon in firing range or running excel sims for dps or even 1vs1 or 2vs2 fights. We have seen where AoP shines and its the medium to big sized battles. Thats what we should be aiming the balance for.

- Overheat trait added to Ripper, with next mechanics:
Each hit gives weapon 60 heat point;
Each second 20 heat points dissipate;
Once heat points > 300 weapon jams;
Once heat points are <=250 weapon can be unjammed.

Translation : ripper touched me in weird places T_T pls nerf ripper now, cant take it anymore T_T .

Still same formula, weaktards crying, devs to changing things for the worse. Hawk is right on this one, game still cry2nerf. Good thing I am optimistic that the server can still be saved :D

I personally believe that they take more time than what is needed from the game, maybe add them as mass produced variants from craft menu. That is after the game gets rolled back and fixed from the current "gets worse by the update" edition.

Be optimistic and get your facts right, Server spikes at 4-5 players which is enough to go farm the dungeons, you feeling excited already ?

1v1 is me versus myself jacking off in toilets. The real test tho, is to guess which toilet.

Yep Hellmoi was one of my favorites too, sadly his butthurt generating skills in forums or IRC were subpar.

As for the current revision of AoP it should be hidden away and last versions erased from history, thats the best adjustings that could be done.

AoC will use the current revisions of AoP and probably even keep its item balance so that the wiki, if it was updated, would interchange.
