Armors again.
« on: May 01, 2016, 10:09:03 PM »

Still 90% of players using combat armor, these are all supposed to be the same tier right?
Should see an even distribution of leather armor, leather jacket, CA, and metal armor, and whatever armors you add.

The other armors need better perks, maybe bleed resist, or something useful, people just don't give a @#$# right now unless it is CA.  Would be nice to see diversity.

Well, I wouldn't say Combat Armors are better than Leather or Metal (while on same tier). Depends on build etc. Many people came from other servers where CA was must be, so they use it here too.

Well, I wouldn't say Combat Armors are better than Leather or Metal

They really are though

leather jackets and armors are only really worn for the BROF trait

and wearing metal armor protects a little better from normal type burst weapons but is worse against just about any other type of damage

Well, Metal Armor is great for normal and that's enough.
I would put malus rate of fire on CA, maybe except first one. It would counter players from spamming those :D

Anyway, some changes in mechanic would be great.

Its not even good vs normal as a whole. It has very good DT but bad DR, so youre good against burst but aimed shots rape you.

Meanwhile combat armor has good DT _and_ good DR across all damagetypes except the one that is least used of all weapons (electric)

Yup, now it makes some sense. As I said, I would make CA a little bit slower. Like malus rate of fire or something like that, after all it's quiet heavy and bulky armor.

Actually I saw that the combat leather coat was 50% DR, that is pretty sweet.

Good job buffing various armors, now it's time for the robes :P  They got left behind.
I'm trying to start a no armor left behind movement.
