This is a perk suggestion:

Impale lvl 9 150% throwing
Adds spear or throwing knife to the target inventory when thrown adding bleed and the weight of the item

Passive: allows you to see carry weight of people when you have awareness

thou it is cool idea nobody will waste perk slot for it
also it will give unfair advantage over any form of sneaker
but maybe BOLA type of weapon dat deals minor dmg but is very powerful at imparing movement may have this as perk or trait

When I first read that, I thought of a situation where you'd throw dynamite spears in your target's inventory... And he would throw those back at you.

There are lots of benefits for a throwing character, main one is: You won't have to perform a ritual of collecting every single knife you've thrown from the ground.

Nice idea!
The passive doesnt seem to fit with the perk, maybe a high pentrating value with those weapons instead.

My thoughts were that as most players have inventories filled to the brim with equipment, when you throw a spear it'd add the weight to their inventory, after 10 spears lodged into their legs arms and skewered between their shoulderblades they'd be unable to move, so I thought you could know how much they are carrying and utilize this.

I think this would make it unfair as throwing a dynamite spear would just give the enemy another weapon, I think if you threw a dynamite or plasma spear, it would have exploded and should leave a normal spear and some components in their inventory?

On that note, maybe have the perk make it so targets who stay in a hex too long take increased bleed damage.

We have to think about them logically as it adds atmosphere if you understand what I'm saying, why would increase? Wouldn't it increase more of you were moving

There is no logical reason, you are right about that.

I was making a perk reference to vlad the impaler and didn't think it through. Increased bleed from moving would be nice thought.

Passive: allows you to see carry weight of people when you have awareness

Could you at least explain why ?

Vlad the Impaler was a walking X-Ray machine. It is known.

I mean, could you explain why it is important for you to know other players carry weight ?
How, all the code/work involved in making the thing, will change anything in the server ?

I am not saying there is no point. I am just seeing that i don't see the reason, and, as the OP of this suggestion, Bird should be able to explain why he want that ingame.

because its a dumb suggestion, he wants to overload enemy players inventories forcing them to walk

something more thought over would be a spear perk that pins players to their position for some time when hit (forced to stand still but can still attack)

Stay calm, akagi shigeru.

Overloading their carry weight would be pinning them to their position; silly billy.

Anyway seems like the devs stole my perk name, the effect doesnt make sense though. Also made me laugh that you guys kept stigmatizing the word to vlad the impaler.

you cant overload carry weight with spears as everyone only goes into fights with whats necessary
