Suggestions / Re: make rad rifle, and rad smg actually radiate target?
« on: September 18, 2014, 04:39:08 PM »
Item description says that it does not actually irradiate its target.

"Though its name says otherwise, this rifle does not actually irradiate its targets and just works as any plasma rifle does. The producers just thought the alliteration might help promotion of the weapon. Unfortunately, most people were afraid to expose themselves to the radiation this gun seemed to create so it did not sell well and was only ever produced in small numbers."

But it would be a cool mechanic nonetheless.

Why is it always our base, does everyone want to live in a vault?
I guess success breeds jealousy.

They do stop and you can't open dialogue. All he says is hello citizen and others yell make way for the king.

But not for long and you can't interact with them while they are walking.
And there is one encounter NPC, that I know of, that has a dialogue box, the adventurer leader.

Please make the NPCs in the outskirts of Phoenix stop for a longer period of time or make them stop when you open dialog with them.
Screenshot related, I missed a chit-chat with King Arthur because he can't stop moving.

Same thing with healing powder.
2 chemical components for tribal drugs is ridiculous.

Thing from Game Rules thread

Usually, people caught misbehaving in-game will be sent to Sugarman's prison. There is no way out of there, Sugarman never releases prisoners and we do not do it often either. If we catch a platoon obviously cheating, we'll send all its members to jail too. To summarize: please, behave.

Three times is the key?
Good to know.
Also did anyone find the other parts of the holodisk shown in my thread?

Suggestions / Re: removing other core entrances
« on: September 10, 2014, 02:28:56 AM »
I agree with this, my reasons are stated in my own thread.
It just doesn't make sense that the entrances aren't guarded properly, patrolling NPCs usually go in the middle of the map and they can't see the other factions shooting.

I've heard talk about patrols rushing from the one side of the map to the other, because one bluesuit got chased by scorpions. I didn't experience this while defending our own gate though.

Really, you shouldn't be able to walk around all that danger that easily.
It's frustrating to knockback someone into an exit grid and have him come back at full health.
Spoiler for Hiden:

What I do find interesting about this holodisk is the part where it says "even uttering his name is enough to summon him"

Maybe that was the cause of the Sugarmen spawning. I remember seeing another player say sugarman and suddenly it was there, Paladin Lone was the player's name.

This seems like the best place, since this is about the Sugarman "event".

I found this lengthy written holodisk "Hiding from Sugarman, part 1" in the Vault-Tec Enterprises and I was wondering if anyone found the other parts of it?

« on: September 07, 2014, 06:23:49 PM »
The four gates surrounding the core are available to anyone, including enemy factions.
That does not seem to be a great idea to me.
it encourages easy spawncamping, because we can just enter, kill, exit, heal and repeat.
We can also travel behind enemy lines without much effort, because we nullify the risk of bumping into hostile players by traveling around the core.

Please restrict the faction gates to their respective factions or at least only give access to people with positive reputation in that specific faction.
They're basically spawnpoints on top on spawnpoints.
