I'm having the same problem, the game kicked me first then got the same message as you.

It's lag, too many players logging in at the same time? theres a lot of trial and error involved but the devs are working to fix it. seems a lot of us are either suffering with major lag and/or frequent connection losses.

So atleast its not just us being left at the starting line ;P

Dunno, I used client from: http://fonline-aop.net/forum/index.php?topic=782.0 and worked fine.
Or maybe it didn't register you a character?

It is very common mistake among new players who register on forum and then try to log in to game using this nick/password. You have to register character inside game client. Maybe that's the case here...

Not the case, or not for me atleast. My ingame name is Jimmy Sunders and I won't disclose my password :p

Me and my buddies tried that, one of them got in, but i was still stuck with the log in info being wrong.

It's probably the traffic of people coming in and out of the server, I'll try again later tonight.

This is still a problem, I tried to make a second character (to see if it worked) but still getting the same message.

Do you used special characters on name /password?

Did you manage to log in successfully one time in the game?
If you never manage to log with you character, registration had maybe failed

After registering, name/pass are already completed, did you change them before click play?

Info : You can push "control" key to see password field.

As of yesterday, I made 2 characters and was able to play. I don't know what I did to fix it, maybe the game just decided not to hate me anymore!
