Pulse pistol

Give this pistol the same range as plasma pistol. Also adding 1 or 2 more AP Drains will make useful PvP worthy.

Adding another one or two drains wont improve anything. Whole trait needs to be changed

Or give pulse weapons a chaining effect instead of ap drain. (And save the AP drain for those cold/freeze weapons ;^] )

Oh alright then, add 2 more please for 60% chance you of taking 15 action points. :^)

Or add 3 more for 80% :^)  but range needs to be buffed.

ok lets try this lobby thing now. I'll check back tomorrow or on the weekend and if there is not a huge protest against it, I will literally implement stalkers suggestion

change ap drain formula, not how many times its on a weapon

I have a feeling that the trait itself is broken.
Also having to look past a wall of 5 to 8 "AP DRAIN" on item description is rather ugly

I don't see a problem with adding it, but as Ramon says the trait itself seems pretty useless. At least when I use it with EW SMGs I dont really notice the drain on enemies.

same issue for pulse rifle. would be awesome if only ap drain actually did sth.

Since everybody agree, I will disagree. :^)

Pulse pistol is pretty OP in its own niche situation :

Fighting in buildings because of its low range and annoying knockbacks.
+
Not shooting at leather armored targets.
+
Able to shoot shoot shoot...

Sounds like a bad plasma pistol.

You don't even play anymore.

And if you think the pulse pistol has annoying knockback, someone hasn't shot at you with the deagle.

Annoying knockbacks for the pulse pistol user and pushing target out of range in combination of low range gun. It would be awful to use in open space.

Does it do electric damage? I think it did pretty good against metal armors before, but I didn't test lately. 14mm probably much better in all other cases

14mm is pretty much better than every other pistol IMO

Deagle was there before, I guess now its just that everyone uses it.

I haven't been playing because I'm just not home during ZC hours most of the time. Maybe tommrow.

Of cours everyone uses the deagle. It's much better than any other pistol, especially now since Mozambique shotty only affects pistols.

Low AP cost, decent clip size, good bleed, low reload cost, decent range. Now only reason why it became the meta is because of Mozambique, before people actually used the 14mm and did eye/head/groin shots since its good for knockouts. Now it's rarely seen since deagle can do the same thing for lower AP cost and when that headshot happens, it's mostly a blind, KO, or disoriented. This why I think Mozambique should be removed.  Oh, did I mention the ridiculous bleed it does?

But AoP is basically dead so none of these changes matter. It's literally hellmoi and combatant on 24/7.
