Or will this turn into "whoever has most alts wins"? :o

I know character development in this game does seem to make it more worthwile to stick with one, but still, once you're dead you have huge advantage if you have 500 alts logged off at each zone control area ready to come back the second you die.

So I'll take that as a 'yes' ?

But seriously, you could respond in a less smartass way. Yes, I have played the server. I have just one character, so how would I know if there are fast relog rules? Anyway someone can use sandboxie/vm and bypass any timer that might exist, so maybe you can expand on your answer instead of being extremely unhelpful and a little bit condescending...

No, there's currently no stable way to do it and probably will never be.
Only workarounds.

Its not really necessary. The respawn timer is only 1 minute. You cannot log off in the core, as your character just sits there. People would have to have alts logged off at their faction entrance, then travel across the core to get to the PvP.

Gate camping isn't supposed to be a thing and is being fixed. This is really a non-issue. People logging onto ALTs outside the core and running for 3 minutes to the PvP, isn't really a big factor.

you can log off in the core.... it takes time before it ports you to world map, enough time to have your alt run in, and just switch back and fourth and refresh them...
plz try to be smarter than this?  or the cheaters will win....

There shouldn't be any way to log out in the city. Show me proofs.

EDIT: haha, just got it. Man, are you serious?

I need a more precise explanation because you're losing me.

You literally can not log in core lol. You must have logged off and the server reset. That would jump you out of core. You've said you have screens, but not posted them. You just sound salty. I have seen no instances of dual logging, and fail to see when such an action would be very beneficial.

You can log in at the gate of the core (world map) fully armed with more alts. it reduces time to get another chars to war zone.
If you hide other alts to a building near the zone (toilets where nobody enters) makes you instantly get to the zone after you die with main char. Its just preplanning, planting alts around the zone and get them "off" mode. Ofcourse if somebody finds them they have no chance to survive ;)

If somebody have 2 machine or laptop, he dont even have to quit with alt. If it has been attacked, he just turns to the other monitor. Maybe some programmer kid can make a workaround to run fallout multiple times, and play on shared screen... well you may think it is unfair, i think its just clever, i wish i had more accounts / pcs to do this. :c

I'm not even sure playing multiple characters at the same time should be considered cheating. It's like multi-tabling in poker, you gain efficiency, but lose precision and everything you do becomes more predictable because you have to rely on patterns to do that. Realistically, the only good way to dual-log that doesn't increase your chance of getting lolpwnd is to use the second screen for item management stuff in your base or something like that - basically, convenience/quality of life things. I think that's not even against the rules since it doesn't even give an advantage over the other players in PvP affairs.

of course it gives you an advantage, you die, immediately get back into battle on your alt.
just have them hiding in a bathroom somewhere, and they will be safe.

I don't get what is so confusing about this?  you have your alt logged off...
Or was this only possible because I was in the first area?  either way "impossible"??

Dude, you can log off, but your character will never disappear. Anyone can shoot it.

I never forget the awkward moment when I realized the logged off character won't leave the core after 1-2 minute.

Once I logged off at our gate with buddies around me, then I came back after hours found myself without my best gear. I accused my friends of killing me right after I left.

I just imagine how happy could be that lost enemy noob who defeated me in a 10 min 'fight' with his zip gun.

I suggest adding a 3minute timer like back in 2238.

-1 for logging out inside timer. Logged of armies will appear right in the center of the core to be able to strike in 1 minute. It's simple rule to follow: want to stay safe, get out of the town. If you can't, nothing unusual that you'll die.

Please don't. The current mechanic is pretty much perfect and much more immersive.
