Title: Lags in game
Post by: Bes on September 23, 2014, 01:08:48 PM
Hello again. After yesterdays restart i have much more lags and freezes in game. Particularly at the moment when i open container in my room and when i try to fight in team battles\assingmens. Is any possibility to fix it or optimize my client?

Describe your problem in a way it can actualy be understood. Any changes at your pc, Any changes in game settings, how the lag actualy happends and does it seem that others with you have the lag too, when you do assignements with them?

No changes on my PC or game settings. Everything work perfect. As another symptom low fps (30-60 in HQ, 20-40 in battle). When lag happens everything around me just freeze, even cursor.

lag = high ping

Tell us your ping in-game.
test your ping on server where server is located.
If it has ping over 100 you should switch to different DNS.
I am using google for example.

If you have performace issues (slow cursor, low fps, scrolling speed is very slow, game freezes, choppy animations)
Its probably cuz of CPU or RAM.
I dont know why, but Fonline has insanely high CPU requirements.

You probably have just some overheating problems.
But try everything. Run it in small resolution, try OpenGL, Direct. Lower your max fps in config file.
And bring us back results what you gave us isnt much.

You do understand that he said that it happened after the latest update? And it's a non-consistent problem (container opening\ZC) which means that ping CAN'T cause that.
"And bring us back results what you gave us isnt much."
You aren't even using what he gave you.

It seems like a freeze. When it happens my FPS drops to 0 for a half second. The most interesting is that in the first three weeks of the client worked perfectly. Please help.

Did you try to reinstall? Or did you use the updater.exe?
Do you have anything new running besides the game?
Did you try to just run the game with everything else closed?

Infos ;)

Did you try another harddrive? (if you have 2+)
Or did you try to reduce the amount of cores the game can use?

When you run the game open the taskmanager and go to the fallout process. Now go to its properties or how it is called and set the cores you want to use for the programm / game.
