Хочу обратиться ко всем участникам Армии Севера. В феврале сего года открылся новый сервер FOonlin'a под названием Ashes of Phoenix. В ближайшие неделю-две будут идти предтестовые мероприятия, которые закончатся вайпом. Затем стартует официальная бета, которая продлится долго. Все игроки нашего сервера приглашают новых людей, для участия в интересном PvP. Сервер мультинациональный ; американцы, французы, русские, поляки, чехи, словаки, украинцы ; все мы желаем возрастания онлайна и хотим видеть как старых врагов, так и старых друзей в Фениксе.
Сервер разительно отличается от всех предыдущих и даже те люди, кто играет в FOnline уже более 5 лет, почувствуют себя совершенно в новой обстановке, как в той, в которой создавалась Армия Севера в декабре 2008 года ; всё было в новинку, взаимотношения между игроками в своём большинстве были доброжелательными, а впереди открывались захватывающие возможности.
Сейчас вследствие ожидающегося вайпа онлайн очень низкий и много людей дало обещание присоединиться после официального старта, однако уже сейчас можно скачать клиент, опробовать механику, набросать характеристики желаемого персонажа и даже помочь разработчикам в тестировании багов (при наличии минимального английского языка). На форуме вы так же можете найти адрес нашего IRC канала.
На данный момент на сервере отсутствуют какие-то достаточно сильные организованные группы кроме Lawyer'сов, так что через неделю старт будет честным если все четыре NPC-фракции будут иметь примерно одинаковое количество игроков. Вы поймёте о чём я говорю если почитаете блог : http://fonline-aop.net/blog/ . Поэтому я предлагаю всем добровольцам из Армии Севера сконцентрироваться во фракции Brahmin Boys, так как французы имеют достаточное количество человек во фракции JJJLA, а я в свою очередь организую собственную группу во фракции V-technologists. Фракция Family думаю не очень подойдёт вам из-за вашего стиля игры и убеждений. Это совет вызван соображениями честной игры и балланса.

We're currently working to implement all the remaining stuff, there is still quite a lot to do but we're making progress. There is should be an update soon now.

Shangalar, my opinion is on the side of close wipe. People wait time when they will play on AoP more seriously. Some of them stop wait and forget about project. Some look on our online and think "Online in 5 players - this is bad server. They can't gather people". When you started this pre-beta we had fights between factions and online more 10 players. Now it is 3-6. Then more we   push further wipe, then more players leave testing. And you can count , that possible players, which can follow for them in future, go out too.
I think dont need pull with wipe too much time. Dont need iniciate wipe when all your features will be implemented, why we cant play normally without dungeons and etc ? Now we are in period, when all players look on us and see boring on the case of low online. Across more time online will be lower and lower. And will not really grow when you will introduce all amazing possibilytes and will make candy from this server. Need catch players who hesitated right now, becoase other projects dont sleep.
This is psihological thing - game before wipe and after wipe, therefore we lost chances on good online. You do game better per each day, but in each day feedback lower and lower.
For now for players dont need very intresting and hard-programmed things, need only high online, and only one possibility for increasing it - wipe and advertisment. After wipe people will get wish play on this server without horror that soon (from 1 week to 2 moths) all will be wiped and their enforces havent worth.

I agree with everything you said and I can tell you we're doing our best to respect our deadlines. There should be a lot of changes in the future weeks, and the wipe and the next development phase will arrive as soon as we can.

Just out of curiosity, how are you guys holding up with servers? It seems that with such a low playerbase at the moment, there would hardly be any donations. Maybe a stray player or two curious as to what the full product will look like, or a long time supporter of the games

One member of the team, Rynn, is handling all the costs from the beginning. Though, he won't do it forever and so we'll set up donations at some point when the necessary goals will be reached.
