Title: 25-06-2015 Changelog - 2nd edition

Run updater or you will crash

Fixes:
-Fixed merchant issue
-Fixed Combat message : ERROR
-Fixed THE reputation bug that left everyone at 100k rep.

Changes:
-Instant replication changed to 10 second replication.
-Removed Armor Bypass penalty for sneak ( Temporary WIP )

Solar Scorcher
-Now leaves plots of fire on the ground that deals 1.5x written damage. (up to 1.8 with Jomani)
-Base Damage halved
-Reload cost now 30ap

Faction Currency & Economy
-Your faction payout will now be paid in faction specific currency
-The ZC merchant only accepts faction currency from its own faction
-ZC Participation Rewards are retrieved from Becky now
-Increased Payout ratios

Merchants now accept all condition items at this price formula:
Value = Item Cost * Deterioration * Quality
Deterioration is a multiplier from 1 to 0 based on the %. (50% deteriorated item will be 0.5).
Quality Coefficients
Perfect : 2x
Outstanding : 1.5x
Cool : 1x
Better: .5x
Normal: .25x
Will not accept items worse than Normal.

Tracers
-Tracer visibility now determined by perception , 10% to see per perception per bullet.
-Tracers now visible as long as you see either the target or the shooter.
-Projectiles line of sight checking re-enabled ( Tell me your frame rates Teela ).

Combat Logger "The L button"
-Anchor button [ O / X ]  when active will ignore all mouse clicks so you can click through it.
-Bypass button [ C / L ]  when active will have combat messages bypass the default message box.

Features:

New Sound System [ FMOD integration ]
-Directional sound playback.
-Sound Attenuation, the further you are from the source, the softer it will be.
-Weapon firing sounds will now be heard even if the source is not seen.
-Suppression, Winded and Dazed will apply the shell-shock filter ( Muffled Sounds ).

This is very experimental and some sounds have not been ported yet, various tiny things.
The stability is questionable, so if you're crashing do report it.

Nice, long update though.

So once someone dies, they have 10 second timer to replicate? Or when they hit instant replicate it takes them 10 seconds?

I like the currency changes as it gives some importance to who controls the core.

First changelog that didnt make me mad in the last year

No more penalty so cant get killed in 0,2 seconds by burst weapons.
And solar changed to a high range incinerator is better than straight up nurfing it

I guess it is the second option. Otherwise, they might just remove defibrilators and stuff like that...

Other than that, i hope the new currency system won't prevent new players interested in faction switching... There wasn't much new switchers lately...

Also when fire will be renamed into "Area of effect type of damage" and flamer will be removed?

Good afternoon guys.

I just want to let you know Rick doesn't buy anymore "Relics" for example:
He offers now 50$ for each book you give him, but even lf you ask him 1$ he says "Your offer is not good enough"

Also Larry on the first floor doesn't trade any weapon for anything not even caps and also has the price changed ( RPK was 120 yesterday and today is 60 and soo on )

Nope, those who press "instant replicate" are those who don't want or cannot be revived.
Otherwise, if you want your buddies to revive you, you just wait normally.
There is no point in making the task harder for your them.

Explosions added to the new sound system!

Did an E assignment, payout was 90 mine scrip, which is still unusable in the HQ. In the mine 1 scrip is $10, while equipment has the same cost like in the HQ.
1x AK47 is worth like two class E assignments.

Selling misc items (guitars, briefcases, books, etc) does not really produce income, cuz the merchant still only has 1000-3000 caps on himself.

This summer or ~september would be perfect timing for wipe as it seems most FO players are tired of FO2 and Reloaded  :)

The problem right now it's the Relic dude before was asking 7$ for each book and was almost impossible to take all his money ( around 300 ) now with 6 books i bankrupt him and i need to wait for his caps to respawn.

remember to announce the wipe and maybe take the server down completely a few days before it starts.

me and others want to hype and advertise the server outside the fonline community again as soon as its happening, none of the other servers are even half as good as aop is

I also hope for a pre-wipe fever that last a few days/weeks with ton of funny twist in gameplay, like faction HQ open for everyone, PA giveway or treasure hunting... In short, stuff you don't usually see in normal cession life, but give you some fond memory...
(of course, one need to bother for that only if they are actually players on the server)
