So just a little question for all of you wastelanders out there, what is your favorite weapon as of now? What weapon has just clicked with you and stuck?

For me it has to be the rad rifle. It's an all out amazing damage dealer for practically any situation. The decreased DR trait negates most armor, and with a 55% base crit chance I can often deal damage in the 100-150 range, and even without criticals I still get nothing below 70 damage. 36-39 ap cost depending on armor provides pretty swift shots. It's only lacking in range, but that's easy to make up for by packing an extra laser rifle or just finding the opportunity to get close. Still wish it was longer, nevertheless.

So, what kind of weapon do all of you like?

I like the Pancor Jackhammer, it looks very nice and does decent damage and low ap, decent selection of ammo also, I liked it in Fallout 2 and earlier today I gunned a V-tech down in the poiice department with it kicks ass vs blue suits lol :-)

I like the BAR and the Deagle .50 ext.

for long range I love the M1C sniper, especially that sound it makes when you shoot the last bullet.

I favor the H& K G3 atm, closely followed by the Jackhammer, with the Garand and AK74m PSO brining up the rear.  I try to not have a preference, because when crap hits the fan it's good to not have biases about your own firepower.

Plasma pistol is another huge favorite of mine, probably rivaling the rad rifle for me. Great adaptability and almost unlimited shots without wait.

Switching between M1c and M21 atm. Yeah the clip eject sound is sweet. *BING*
I really like the Deagle .50 AE, for back up.

Another gun i thought was effective was the m16.

I quite like the laser rifle ext, its got nice range and can do some nice damage and crits, nothing like knocking someone down at a crucial moment at range.

Used my favorite weapon was the Remington, but after that king kong nerf it got I don't love it anymore, at best as a emergency weapon for dumping a entire load into a guy in a few seconds. Especially because springs are rarer than pipes.

Lemme see others:

- Pancor Jackhammer: Powerful shotty without the added hassle of forever reloads.
- M16ACOG: Nice little easy to craft marksman rifle, pity it lacks burst mode. A good way to get use out of these M16 from assigs.
- Desert Eagle .50 AE: Helluva gun I daresay, its prolly the best gun for close-range duels. I once pwned this one Vtec (who also had one) by shooting his arms with it, total cowboy.
- AK47: The best and only actually useful TL1 gun - It has perks, good range, autofire, the ammo is dirt cheap, common and pretty good, etc. Perfect gun for a Jihad, or for Core Runs.
- Steyr Aug: Nice gun, good perks, burst mode, nice damage.
- FN-FAL: Nice firepower, burst mode, good range, easy to craft, good modifiers on that ammo.
- Combat Shotgun: Decent little gun, good damage, knockdown, optional burst mode, etc. Seems to be better than the Remmy now because it seems to use less AP for the reload. Its also cheap and easy to find, so its still a good ZC gun even if Pancor is way better and Remmy fires a lot faster.
