Yeah. It's kinda awesome. It has awesome weapon choices. It has awesome  mechanics. It has awesome perk system. Though it doesn't have so much graphics as F4 it's overall style awesomely fit the game and locations design is superb. The lore, the main plot and side quests are not bad too.

With the existing hotkey binding system the utility slot is not the problem, you should just have quick fingers and count your AP. But the idea of some sort of items taking utility slot for some constant bonus is interesting.

I also think that current combat system is quite challenging for any new player, even those previously engaged in other online fallout projects. But I don't think it is a reason to sacrifice complexity of the game. Instead there should be more elaborate progression system, there people wouldn't be thrown into PVP right from assignment routine. The upcoming tech tier system could be a good call for people learning in a step by step fashion.

Just the amount of criticism towards nighttime malus shows that it is a decent feature. It would be not honest to say it doesn't irritate me in my sniping exercises, but I can't say that it is bad. Tunnel vision and nighttime malus do not let snipers feel themselve overconfident and increase value of teamplay which is the game about. Once there is a build with which a person could feel calm and confident in any situation it means the balance is destroyed. I think some work could be invested in polishing those features, but their general existence is not discussable.

Thank you, Teela, for your comment! Because you perfectly described the thoughts I had on Stalker's words I would refrain from posting an answer myself.

Also I must admit that naossano's evaluation of the wipe seems to be covering most of the aspects which could be discussed about it and we could just sit back and wait for devs, helping them with feedback or in any other requested way.

I just see it: people come after wipe and see the same AOP they left for good several months before and they ask "Guys, why did you wipe at all?" and the answer is "So we can loot again all from scratch! Derp."

No, it isn't. If it was there would be much more people using something energy apart Gattling Laser and Rad Rifle.

Plasma Rifle:
Increase damage or shooting speed

RAD SMG:
Decrease aimed AP cost

Electro Rifle:
Increase the basic damage

Don't really know about Electro SMG, it's a pretty low-end weapon, maybe it should stay as it is, but putting some spice into it would also be nice.

So all assault rifles which didn't receive Accurate bursts trait could be considered officially dead and won't be ever seen again?

Changelogs / Re: 30-09-2015 Changelog

The difference between AUG and AK-74 now lies mostly in the field of perks, but the old ammunition difference still plays to the AUGs favor. Though will have to test all AKs again in PVP conditions with this new trait.

I suppose Scorpion was nerfed because it has Quickdraw now and you could put it in someone's mouth and pull the trigger before a person is able to say "hello".

The grenade buff is good and the next step should be making them easier to craft.

And also I must express my admiration to the new nefarious development strategy - creating new good guns and providing them only for ZC in parallel with anal destruction of craftable arsenal.

The Lobby / Re: M249 SAW
« on: September 14, 2015, 08:48:14 AM »
Every human being with brain and heavy weapons skill. I lack the latter, so I use SAW. Not to mention no-running penalty. Also I use it and also looted some from lawyers in sunday evening battles, so I suppose you just don't play or don't pay attention to what is used by other players. To tell the truth most people say miniguns a better than most MG's, but for me LMG's are friendlier and more forgiving for control mistakes I do. So for me SAW supplements the need in crowd control weapon. Maybe it should be tweaked, but only carefully, so we don't get some another meta-weapon covering half the map in the spray of bullets.

SAW's spread and ability for fast crowd control is more than a supplement for reload time, for me it is mostly secondary weapon for smoke shooting and insane crowd-rushes counter. If I want to use LMG as my primary I would better take L86 or BAR.

Suggestions / Re: Open Petition To Keep Rerolls Free
« on: September 08, 2015, 02:47:02 PM »
This discussion is getting out of control. It was funny to some extent to watch people refusing to listen to each other, but now it's becoming more and more repetitive. Rerolls should be unlimited in their essence until project declared finished, but should be controllable in the form of granting fixed amount on daily basis with additional granting by the GM decision. Any payment for rerolls will benefit nolifers and thus is a heresy. The only kind of activity in my opinion which could give access to additional rerolls is PVP (some variation of reputation system maybe). Also I consider rerolls overly overestimated in this topic. Rerolls are minor feature in terms of actual PVP usefulness. If you lack coordination, skill and numbers - you will wiped. Has been proven multiple times during the season by v-tec\lawyer swarms with changing amount of core skilled players and coordinators.

Anyway, Matthew, isn't it a nice thing that we have so many little grey hamsters, who could dig some sPAs from their piles of loot? :) I wish I could hear the discussion which led to fielding such an amount of gear by Law.

Is it my, eyes or I just have read a word "propaganda" in one of the posts? It gives me some ideas about the nationality of the author. But apart my ideas is the fact that for anyone living in Russia or near russian borders russian language is universal in the same way as english. And apart this linguistic fact is the fact that you don't need academical knowledge of english to answer to some certain players from Lawyer faction because the level of discussion is drastically far from intellectual. Getting back to the game it seems like some law players needed a good punch to the balls to make them open their stashes and take gear that could give them some edge over v-tec. I'm quite happy that we were able to deliver such a punch.

Oh, of course we have it. I think the discussion is about the next season and making this system wider and deeper. And more accessible to the playerbase (all the retards lazy people who can't make a weapon legendary on their own).
