Title: make rad rifle, and rad smg actually radiate target?

I'm not sure why these guns don't actually radiate their target, but I think they need it, these weapons arent all that ( rad rifle, and rad smg)
You are better off using plasma pistol :P

So I suggest Rad rifle, and Rad SMG radiate the target slightly when they deal damage.
Energy weapons need to have more tactical uses.

Especially since plasma pistol has more DPS =/

Item description says that it does not actually irradiate its target.

"Though its name says otherwise, this rifle does not actually irradiate its targets and just works as any plasma rifle does. The producers just thought the alliteration might help promotion of the weapon. Unfortunately, most people were afraid to expose themselves to the radiation this gun seemed to create so it did not sell well and was only ever produced in small numbers."

But it would be a cool mechanic nonetheless.

But they both already do good damage.  Adding radiation will make it powerful, depending how much radiation it gives per shot.

the plasma pistol is way better than rad SMG damage/action point wise.

It does radiate you however. At least the SMG does. I used it for about 2-3 hours and the needle was about 15% in.

it radiates the user but not the person you are shooting?  laaaaame.
Are you sure you didnt get radiated from something else?

but seriously though these guns really aren't that great =/.
