This is something I never quite understood, Sometimes I kill players and receive a measly amount (less than 100 on occasions) and over 3 grand on another. is it something I did or more random?
-
You need math degree to understand payout formula
-
it probably works the way, which is not easy to understand just by common sense, so it is arbitrary difficult to exploit.
-
isn't how many people are in faction or in ZC a factor? so swarms get less $$$ ?
-
Happened again, got less than a hundred in a 1v1 then got a random 3k
-
I think you consistently get money if you are controlling zones over time.
But yeah I feel your pain, go in, wreck 2 people, die, lose gear, don't even get paid enough to buy back half the gear you lost.
-
You only get paid for the reputation you lose, which can be hours or even days apart from your last kill if you logged of right after.
Generally, the more action there is in the core, the more money you get.
-
So if we afk in game all day we get paid more?
-
So we get reputation and a small income instantly, then when the rep ticks down we get paid the full amount? I think I get it
-
The "payout" thats displayed on screen is a lie. Back in the day you got exactly that amount in caps in your room, but that was taken out and the money is now reputation based

There is a secret factor, unless it is a dev hoax.
