Off the top of my head, ballistics is useless for SG, armor efficiency isnt a good enough buff to take really,  and lifegiver is too small an HP bonus to waste a perk on.

Try taking Adrenaline Rush, Nerves of Steel, Toughness, Bonus rate of Fire, man of steel, and hemostasis +PMS defence

Yeah, s'true. At the same time though, we basically all signed up to be John and Cirn0's fOnline guinea pigs. The fact that we even got 2 seasons is a little astonishing.  Still crossing my fingers for the glorious return and then that delicious week before the hundreds of players checking it out leave.

The hard way? Are you fucking kidding? Learning things "the hard way" is one of the reasons new fonline players are so rare. I have hated how non-intuitive Fonline (in all forms) has always been. There are always a ridiculous amount of features that don't make logical sense but have to be learned "the hard way." Hes salty (and I'm salty too) because the tutorial is a huge chance to teach people things that will make them good fonline players, and also a way to showcase what AoP is about to new players. A shit tutorial not only looks bad, it drives players away. The only reason I stuck around the server long enough to learn anything was because I love fallout. It always seems that no matter how much of  a grasp I have on the game, there are just going to be things that I can't know unless I stumble across them or someone tells me. WHICH IS THE POINT OF A GODDAMN TUTORIAL. Sorry for being so abrasive, but the "Let all the noobs suffer" attitude of Fonline is toxic.

I'm still playing it and became a real junky to it.
Social element is amazing, mechanics is deep and gives lot of tactical opportunities.
Experience is very non-repetitive and grind free. What I always thought open worlds should give but they never actually did anything similar to PR.
It's close to Planet Side 2, but free to play and fully non-commercial, thus everyone is equal except bug abusers and cheaters and server admins.
Shooter mechanics is designed to reduce rambo-ness and doing its job pretty well. And still it's 1 shoot 1 kill if you do it right.

Game is buggy, client and servers are crashing all the time, if you like aop, you will feel like at home!
Many things are not intuitive and controls/ui/graphics are shitty and not gonna become better (:
Sometimes no admins present on the server, so grief and teamkilling do amazingly devastating things.
There are shitheads present, which are waiting forward to insult or frustrate you or just do stupid things and ruin whole team hardwork on archiving the victory.

I doubt Squad will ever be anything similar due to the fact it's commercial project and should be much more fashion-like vanilla to get more $$$

I lead public infantry squads free for you to join.


Would have to disagree about the part where it will never reach PR levels of awesome. All the former devs are from PR for the most part, AND they're actually getting paid to make this. The devs have stated many times the goal is to create a successor to PR. Free Rerolls Man, are you US or EU? I could definitely be up for a round or 2 sometime.

So.....any plans to change pistols? Colt is good atm, but completely negated by high luck/ crit resist builders. x5 finisher only works when you can get them on the ground.

Wold be fucking great if the S&W revolver would get some love.

The only reason the nukas leave a bad taste in my mouth is it makes retreating impossible. There have been quite a few times when me and mates have decided on a tactical withdrawal from a fight only to be run down by the flash. That leaves me saltier than the bottom of a bag of pretzels when a well timed retreat is completely negated.

Only if you get caught alone. Was using it today, and it was utter shit unless I caught someone close range and unawares. I got absolutely wreckt if I got engaged past 10-15 hexes. And the knockout is nowhere near as bad as getting stun locked by 2 people 50 hexes+ away. The colt is now very powerful, but its still very situational.

Its like: Holy shit, people have decided to use weapons where they're appropriate, shame on them.

You will kill mozambikue if you remove aim time.
That is wayyy too strong of a buff for pistols.

Mozam has already been nerfed into the ground from where it used to be
