no its not an normal suggestion for cars "kurwa porno do kars why no kars kurwa".
its a suggestion if developer team would even intend to give us cars.

cars should be a transport in zone to,to faster get to the point of main battle
like in tactics. there should be like from light vehicles (like buggy) to medium vehicles (buggy,hummer) and to heavy vehicles like tank or apc.
for me,cars should cost like light 25k-50k medium 50k-100k heavy 100k-250k
idk just a suggestion

Not if balances, cars couldnt drive into houses and would be easily killed by explosive and traps/fire weapons...

The map that you now use to enter the gates was initially developed to be used for vehicle spawn, for example allowing players with a vertibird to drop anywhere on the map. Only afterwards did we realize we can just use that spawn normally.

Wai not but its hard to say if ever it will be habbening because last changelogs just weapontweaks, havent seen some real feature for long time now and when u ask where is it , its coded long time ago is the answer b...but where it is ingame hahaha.

Well, because we arent running on the Tactics engine, i doubt it would be possible to have actual moving cars. I think what pancake suggests is to have cars ''teleport you'' to ZC zones. I.E. zc in hospital? teleport straight there avoiding all other maps/bypassing ambushes. I personally dont think that would work for the better....

its not unpossible to do just because this engine doesnt use tactics grid system doesnt mean its undoable, original fallout developers had this idea in head aswell but it never made the cut...

This, IRC there was idea to buff our car in F2 with better armor, guns etc

point of tank is to neutralize enemy faster
the shells for it should be rare as hell for balance

Right but mechanics-wise, how many hexes large/long do the cars ocupy?how does turning works? what speed does it travel to? can you just run-over players with your hummer? Can you fire from the windows while inside and be totally immune from ennemy fire until car itself gets destroyed (like in Tactics)?

Seems to be a lot of stuff to work out, and probably the reason original fallout devs abbandoned the idea.

Also some gates would be much harder to navigate trough....that forest in fam gates and all the junk and narrow alleys in Church gates for example.

You were vurneable for firearms especially in lightly armored cars. Heavier needed better guns to knock out crew.

Okay, but as i mentioned we are NOT running on the tactics engine, so it's not possible to simply copy paste everything from there. And cars didnt wreck trees in tactics....you could ram a bush with your tank and you'd just got *Bang* Stoped.

the engine isnt completly reworked,some things may be compatibile. also you cant stop on a bush,i have tested it. i may not be right but those things are just what i think
