Title: The M1941 Johnson Rifle

The Johnson rifle was a revolver-fed semi-automatic rifle chambered in 30.06. It was designed in WW2 but not fielded (barring early pacific engagements) due to components being easy to lose and the tendency to misfire/jam because of the rotary cylinder.

I would love to see this baby in game, its a rifle fitted with a 10-shot revolving cylinder that shoots the same round as a Garand.

I envision it being a halfway point between DMRs and Snipers, with perks and traits along these lines:

Traits: Dijibooti Shooty & Unreliable

Perks: Knockback, Bonus Damage, Knockout Strike , Bonus Rate of Fire, and Better Knockouts; in that order.

Damage (Single): 50-65
60% chance to cause bleed
Bleed Damage: 40
Range:65


AP cost for:

Single - 45

Reload - 30

If needed I can mess around in GIMP and see if I can fudge up an placeholder image.

u got confused the weapon is semiauto rifle fed from rotary shaped magazine
it is just like normal rifles xept the mag is not straight down but circular is shape , otherwise is normly fed by stripper clips like any rifle of te time (circular shape give slightly more cartridges in sligtly lower weapon profile)
so this is not revolver type of rifle

but whats the point if it has almost the same perks as M1/M1C

Didn't realize, was picking perks I thought a 30.06 should have. Regardless of that though, it fires faster. Could get rid of BRoF and better knockouts and give it Finisher and Hit the Gaps.

Its a drum mag basically and not a revolver. I was wrong.  Now have anything USEFUL to add to this?
