Suggestions / Quatermaster Assignment (Not heart of HQ one)

Hello,

So at the moment when a new player starts this server, he has to do assignments to level up. (It seems only way) But at the moment after a quick assignment for small level chars there is a 10 minute cool-down, when this cool-down is active there is pretty much nothing a player can do. Can't shop/buy items. can't solo mining mission. Can't even solo encounters cuz of no ammo cuz of no assignments to pay for it.

Basic, My suggestion is to make the Assignment giver (Not heart one) cooldown for assignments 3-4 minutes to take a break IRL. to smoke. drink w/e.

I realize that no cool-down can ruin economy of this server. And I thought it out before making this suggestion. But I think that when someone gains 400-600exp + 80-130$ from an assignment he shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes when there's nothing else to do.

Benifits (pros) -

- Lot less grind for people who feel like starting this server out.
- Much less boring waiting.

Faults (Cons) -
- Bit more money put into the server per day.
- Solo players becoming rich faster. (Slightly)


One of my friends is having a lot of hard time starting out this server cuz its just boring as hell once u finish an assignment at lvl 3, you gotta put some quality time from Ur irl to get this game to work for you with these obstacles

Reloaded was good...then a lot of shit started happening that made it bad. (Abuse,unbalance with implants,Turbo was too OP,motion sensors everywhere,tanks tanks tanks )

FO2 just sucked.

2238 was cool but died :V so now aop my favorite server

Im sure it is. I mean like there is no hexing, No damage perks, any noob build works. Pretty much noob freindly. I can understand why its ur fav )

Hahahaha, get owned noobs  8)

Good luck getting caps from your vendor that only rarely spawns caps regardless of controlled territories. I can just spam dialogue options and spawn caps from my priviledge NPC. I deserve this advantage over the other factions because me and my crew are special snowflakes, and John Porno is always right. Hope you scrubs get banned for reporting this bug whining too much!!!

What is a formula for dmg including treshold?

How does threshold  work? I see almost all ammo got about -50, -30, -20 DT. So that ammo is deacreasing DT always to 0? Why so high numbers?

14 Normal dt from CA. + Psycho = 24 normal dt. + adrienaline rush = 28 normal dt.
Then Add PA ontop of that and u got like 35 normal dt.
Or even APA and u got 41 normal DT?

Use ur Primary school math skills.. xD

Edit: On a side note, Maybe devs were just newbs who mistaken DT for DR ?   :P

What graphic card do you have ?

I know alot about troubleshooting issues in all sorts of softwares/Games. But this is the only one im stumpt on for past 8 years. Never had such a stupid issue that couldnt be fixed. Eitherway Heres my system stats.

ATI Radeon HD 4650.
Processor : AMD Athelon II X4 635.
Motherboard model: 2AB1.
Manufacturer: FOXCONN.

If you guys could find out a way to get the main regular exe from running without this white flash and esc then it would be great.
Did you try full screen and windowed ?(fo config)
Did you try changing resolution ?(fo config)
Did you try changing monitor refresh rate ? (screen resolution, advanced settings, monitor)
With Vsync on and off ? (fo config )

I reinstalled windows7. Forgot to readd my patch to use all ram on 32 bit opperating system. And btw I dont just have 8gbs. I have 24 gbs on computer. :P
This c++ issue isnt really the problem. its the main EXE I need to get running. If you guys could find out a way to get the main regular exe from running without this white flash and esc then it would be great. Also Catstvens - Thanks for that USB trick, ill check it out later.

your processor supports 64 bit too, why not install 64 bit windows 7? You can only use 4 gig of RAM on 32 bit anyway so you're wasting half your ram.

here is iso you can use, it's 64bit professional, maybe it will work, I've seen most people getting this error online seem to have 'ultimate' edition:

My Interenet is masively slow. Imposible for me to download that. It would take something like 30 days. :P
Also My brother just got this error. It happens same to him now for some reason yesterday. Maybe u guys are constantly updateing something that is messing around with this ?
I tried installing directX. doesnt work either
I have windows Vista 64bit but it wont burn on any disk cuz its too large ;p But I really think its something that the deveolpers are doing thats outdating some of our exes.

Im just gonna start this out Cuz I am really frustrated with this crap and so is alot of members that requested help TONS of times and never got a single answer.

The fkin NPC in lawyer base is gone and replaced with some random hoe. that wont talk. (Assignmant manager) People have active assignments and cant close them. Or take any new assignments from heart. Its been like this for liek 10 hours now. Whats u guys point with this? Did u guys really miss all those ~help's ?

Both opengl and dx client are old.

I don't understand what you have installed when you say "I installed c++ latest version". If you are talking of MS redistributable c++, you don't need the latest, in fact on seven you don't need something else.

Also if the game stop, you can check fonline.log to see if something interesting at the end of file.

Did you try the game windowed? same problem?

On fullscreen, did this happen at the beginning or start bugging after some alt-tab?

Can you launch something else on you system without problem? (why did you reinstall the first time?)

Both are old ? Lil weird. The one im using is something like 2 years old.
I said I have the lastest version of MS Redistributable C++. And I installed it to test if game would not crash when I use it.

I also tried running as administrator. Didn't work either.

I reinstalled windows because the game wasnt running well. I thoght hey it could be a computer issue since it wasnt like that before. Untle one of ur recent updates on the date of this thread. Waste of reinstalling windows time but w/e.

I run all sorts of softwares FLAWLESSLY. No issues.

Windows is built in service pack3. So i mentioned it cuz it has built in C++, And I installed the C++ from most recent game disks such as rainbowsix vegas2. They have it in disk for 2011 computers.

My brother tried the exe im running right now and he had this Problem with 'C' charecter menu crash.

Just to clarify that its windows7:

Make a new faction, the Mercenaries, this factions will be called upon to help the current weakest faction in the game.
For example:
There are 30 Vtec taking a zone, and 10 lawyers came and died, or the score is something insane like Vtec: 900  Lawyers: 80.
All players in the Mercenary faction would temporarily become Lawyers ( to prevent team killing)
and they would be called to help fight for the lawyers.
This will help against any extreme team unbalances during the game.
It seems pvp is just factions taking turns swarming other factions when they have the most players on in their faction.  I have yet to see a fair fight, I am either in a faction mopping people up 30-5 or vise versa.
But a mercenary faction could be like extra backup for whoever the current weakest faction is in the game.
or maybe instead of switching everyone in mercenary faction ( because that might make more unbalance) it would select the number needed, so if it is 30-10, 20 people in the mercenary guild could be switched over to the weak faction.

I am just brainstorming stuff here, nothing is concrete.
But until then we are just going to take turns being the bigger swarm.



Well Famlily people got less than other factions. That game is made for smarm battles, so You need to invite all friends from other games :D

Just yesterday there was a 8v20 fight. The 8 won. People who know basic tactics can play 5v10. People who dont should be part of the 10 ;P
