+1 Agreed, I concur. Also my opinion...

How would creating player factions be any different to having independent clans?

Cant really make an informed decision on your suggestion as I don't know the current state of PvP. My worries with arenas/controllable towns outside the core is that it may damage the population of core goers. Other things too, but i would just be echoing Anza if I typed them here.

Santa Cruz.

10/10 for using locations in Arizona.

Try to use old executable with unpacked zip file, i dont know how to fix this if it wont work, also, how exactly it crashes? just black screen or some error messages? because in first case it's probably downloading the caches, just need to wait couple minutes.

Will try that today.

So far its goes like this...

Launch game
.zip error message appears
(ignore message)
Black screen appears (No control, no mouse cursor, waiting does nothing and pressing Esc closes it only sometimes. I usually have to Alt+Tab out and then close...)

The whole thing is very strange.

OK, so...

I downloaded from the DDL again and no luck. I'm still getting the same error message.

I did everything right, I don't remember ever having any problems at all last September. :/
I just don't understand.

No the game just crashes on a black screen if the error is ignored.

Tried this, I just get some kind of dll error?



This whole thing is probably just me being noob...I followed all the instructions and tried all the different solutions but still :/

Hey guys!

The existing thread about this error is locked. So maybe this one can be merged or closed after I figure this out?

I cant get the game to play I know this issue has been raised before so I tried the suggested solutions but still nothing.

Downloaded client via DDL
Unpacked .zip
Added .dat files
Ran updater

Wild error appeared!

Continue to black screen

(Yes all of my net settings are up to date)

Did I do something wrong?
Here's a couple of screens, any help is appreciated as always.

Cant wait to get back in action.
