Title: 13-02-2015 Changelog

Fixes:
-Fixed Food being classified as drugs A & B
-Fixed Client Side character sheet errors
-Fixed Medcinae Doctor
-Fixed Hex shooting with deploy weapons AP cost
-Fixed Bug with ground fire doing no damage to people walking into it
-Fixed Skill points of secondary skills using the Throwing skill as the cap if it is the highest
-Fixed Kamikaze trait

Changes:
-Leadership Critical Chance (20 -> 10)
-Leadership Psychopath (10 -> 20)
-Bonus bleed removed from BAR and SAW (There is still bleed on the ammo)
-Removed a HTG from BAR and replace with Suppression
-Removed Better One Hex from SAW replaced with More Dakka
-Increased M21 firerate from 1,000 to 900
-Removed Bleed 30-06 ammo
-Changes to both Garands
-Lowered M1C firerate from 600 to 900
-Changes to punch gun
-Bandage and defibrillated timeouts are reset when respawned
-Information of weapons' fire rate is showed in full description in the inventory
-Defibrillators can be used from utility and hand slots only
-Crit effects for torso reduced, less knockback, less armor bypass.
-Changed Bleed Resist now ticks every second for Bleed / (1 + log( 1 + cr.Stat[ST_BLEED_RESISTANCE])) damage;

Additions:
-Added new skins for Tesla Armor and Combat Leather Coat [ Huge thanks to Alex Shura, lots of new armor skins coming ]

RUN UPDATER
If your game is crashing, check your DataFiles.cfg, it will be rewritten by the updater.

the two blank lines between master critter and the new .zips in datafiles.cfg seem to be causing errors

i got file not found " " twice when starting the game


when i removed them the error was gone

When I load up AoP it says Data file " not found. Run Updater.exe. I run Updater.exe and it says up to date. Still lets me access the game though, it's just annoying.

Ran the updater but was greeted with this message, as Caboose said we can still load the game.
Although the new armor art isn't showing it just looks the same. Meh wanna see pretty things. :(

I take it back! Just me being stupid again, new clj skin looks sweet. I can't tell the difference between MA and TA though.

time for a quick comparison on damage with a full AP bar of shots to make courier look stupid:

Pancor damage:

371 direct damage(!) and 74 bleed at close range
225 direct damage and 45 bleed at medium range

Garand damage:

184 direct damage and 110 bleed



garand is strong but its damage is right where it should be imo
maybe mess with the firerate and turn it up 100 or 200ms and its perfectly ok, no need to always overnerf everything

That dummy isn't really an accurate representation of a player character. Also, I had already planned to move the firerate of the m1 garand for the next patch.

lel that dummy isnt anything u can rely on , m1garand outdmg most stuff now for its range and with pancor i wasnt even capable to kill  someone with 4 bursts becoz he healed himself and that was in close range ... so all your arguments invalid . u should look on all sides of a weapon when it comes down to comparison ... range , ap , perks , traits , with leader buffs no leaderbuffs , clippsize , ammunition etc...

all what people look on is just stupid dmg outcome , u need to go into detail ... i still say shotguns are shit for its own class because they have the second less range after melee andstill deal avergae dmg which u can also get with weapons that outrange them easily ... pancor is just worth to go with leaderbuff while i can run nowadays with a shitty luckbuild and a m1 garand happily killing stuff for low ap on mid range ... really its stopid ... PKS machinegunnerfs were stupid too imo becoz people forgott that u needed to deploy that shit , firerate wasnt great either from PKS for example , one grenade from hand or milkor could have fucked any deployed MG ... thx to nerf MGs totally out of game ... i could go on but really i dont care ...

the truth ramon is u cant rely on any dummy you shoot without any perks or bonuses , real life pvp situation is way different and the whole gamebalance is broken because of such stupid testing

most handgun calibers are too small to kill a human reliably. With an equipped medic nearby, only one in ten hits are fatal (this does not include .357 magnum which is actually perfect for killing humans). This includes large pistol calibers like the .50 and the .44 which "over-penetrate" making them far less effective than a 9mm or something similar.

Doesn't sound very fun to me.

About "average (poorly trained)" shooters, didn't find the exact info on the page. Although anyway, I'd recommend watching / practicing: Kelly McCann's Inside the Crucible Volume 4: Close-Quarters Shooting and Combative Pistol Skills also known as Combative Pistol - Jim Grover's Guide to Extreme Close Quarters Shooting (e.g. vk.com requires registration (https://vk.com/video?q=Jim%20Grover&section=search&z=video225913108_166350414)). It took less than 5 hours to learn to defend the pistols in close range and hits 75% of rounds with it for people with experience in martial arts.

It's certainly not 95% chance to hit, but IRL you can shoot much faster with a pistol and moving targets are not problem in close range for it.

If you want to find something too good and unrealistic, it'd mention reloading speed though.

I want to smack you so hard, in a friendly manner, for thinking such a thing.  I love guns, I really do, but pistols feel unwieldy as hell in my hands, I am not competent with them even after training. Just saying, and anything less than rubber bullets go through walls so pistols aren't the greatest for public places.

Think about reducing effective range and reworking falloff range a bit. Changes like this and reducing maximum hit chance will make the game more confusing and less consistent though. maybe chaos!

90 to hit seems to me a good test. My brother reports misses with laser rifling anyway.
