It may not necessarily need a wipe to be put into the game but I'm pretty sure there would be one.

a wipe will be required in order to re-balance the game and for the factions to be equal, or else it would be fucked up

Thinking about it, two new factions won't be added until next season.
New season means a wipe, a wipe means new stuff and new stuff means people come back to check it out.
Maybe the addition of new factions will better accommodate those players that left and still remain elsewhere for one reason or another.

I dont think it should be based on current player base (Which is very slowly growing

)
when factions will be the same until next season.
After a wipe and what is sure to be many glorious additions and masterful refinements, the addition of hound square and boreal church makes six in total.

What was the playerbase at its best? 200-300? (Just pulling that number outta my ass seriously) try to imagine 200-300 people spread across 6 factions.

Of Course there will always be some who choose other servers for whatever reason, and I suck at numbers but you get what I mean right?
