war auf jedenfall ne feine sache zum nachjustieren ;) hatte mir nen sniper gemacht ursprünglich gifted mit 5 7 10 2 8 8 8 und bin da nun mit der endurance runter um mehr luck/int draus zu machen.. hoffe nur ich hab bald mal zeit wieder zu spielen..  ::)

As in title: i was able to open some containers that are located in the wand (for example in bathrooms the medic ones) from the otherside of the wall. should be a mapping bug. i think it was in the maptile above BB gate will add screenshot today or tomorrow ..

how was it in counterstrike the good old days? mp_friendlyfire 0 :P

but this is no solution here.. teamkilling should leave to really really hard disadvantages for you.. i suggested something like this in this thread before.

To carry this to new extremes add something like:
- faction traders dont talk to you anymore
- you are denied to use your own gate to enter core
- you lose your room
- you get kicked out of faction
and that all based on a "same faction player" killcounter (see post before).

why sould someone be allowed to stay in the faction if he is john rambo without IFF?

maybe make some toplevel for reputation? after last changelog we made some assignments and one noticed his perception is buggy and asked me to kill him. was about 5k reputation drop but no problem for issues like this..

but in general pks (same faction) can sum up like 100-150k reputation and then go for a 10 faction ppl killing spree. they maybe loot 10-15 relicts so they can fill up their reputation with ease. maybe implement a "same faction player" kill-counter. it fades away within 30 days (kills 30 days ago are "forgotton") and within this time you get lower reputation/xp/payout for assignments, zc, donating relics.. just an idea that came up when reading this

you can also zoom with holding Z and also using page up/down buttons on your keyboard

with autohotkey it should be possible to map the z+pageup / z+pagedown key kombination to mwheel up/down

the zooming problem is well known and at least it isnt that much a problem in AoP because core maps all have the same map size so you get used to scrolling there very fast. the more quadratic the map size is, more easier scrolling becomes.

maybe devs can write a script which moves the view to another point if outzooming cant be performed because view is set on the edge of a map

hmm wouldnt say so.. i have some kind of sniper build and in order to get used to game mechanics (they differ very much from reloaded or other fo derivates) and give myself some start in caps it was good making 1st level assignments alone. wasnt even that hard as i would have expected :) but ofc i agree they are not same efficient as doing assignments generally in a group.

but ppl sometimes want to play for themselfves so you can even do the easy 2nd lvl assignments alone (im just lvl 13)

5. try to get like 4-5 guys to do 2nd lvl assignments very quick. rewards are like 3-5k xp/reputation up to 500 caps payout for each player :)
6. just try to organize 1 good gear set for yourself.. you will find 100% combat armors/leather armors in 2nd level assignments very often.. also normal stimpaks for free and many weapons you can repair that are quite useful for pvp (good old sniper rifle from classic fallout, machine guns small and big, laser rifles..)

haben gestern abend mit paar leuten (multinational) von reloaded im core etwas stunk gemacht.. schön family und vtec gate "belagert" und später die "zuspätkommer" geschlachtet die zu ZC Robco wollten.. mussten dann allerdings die Beine in die Hand nehmen da VTEC mit at least 10 Mann (wir waren 5) extra ihr ZC abbrachen um uns zu erwischen.. haben sie nicht geschafft.. aber Gate belagern ist mit dem heutigen Patch schwerer geworden.. sehr viel mehr Patroullien :(

awesome work :D nothing more to say then Thanks a lot!

It is often hard to even get deep into the core for scavenging and thus it is hard to  know the maps and possible objects for hiding (pvp tactics). so this is very useful for learning and working out strategies!

Maybe add reputation loss also for looting faction members as long as he hasnt replicated yet (except squad members cause this could be explicitly ordered by squad leader or someone else of the squad)
